Annual Tulip Run 2010

I participated in the Annual Tulip Run in Mt. Vernon with Michelle. She took the stroller and ran as she pushed Benjamin. Her time was 25 minutes; my time 39:50. It's ok; she ran, I walked.
Afterwards I took her to lunch at a place called Calico Cupboard. It's a bakery/restaurant specializing in breakfasts. We took home a piece of chocolate pie to eat later. Yummm!
Benjamin cried a little at the beginning and then slept the rest of the run. Luckily for the NW it was a sunny, yet cool day, so we all bundled up including Ben.

Tulip Fields Fill the Soul

My girlfriends and I visit the tulip fields every year in April during the tulip festival. We all have stayed friends for over 20 years and we get nostalgic each year we go, saying "remember when it was free to get in and they didn't plant outside the fence?" You'd have to be there to get it but it

These flowers were planted to simulate a river of color and they did a great job!

Easter

Ady. Can't resist taking pictures of my grand daughter since I only have two out of 12 that are girls.
Grandma and Adyson.
Owen
Terrin 10 yrs with glasses. His Dad just bought him contacts because of his glasses fogging up when Terrin played baseball in the rain.
Owen and grandma.
Terrin wanted a picture without his glasses on. You can see that he is holding them in his hand.
Colin is 6 and enjoying first grade and also plays baseball.

Last weekend we traveled to Portland to visit with our extended families. Bryce and Isabel have a 5 year old pictured above, Kaden.
Darcie's oldest boy, Shade 16 yrs. with his cousin Kya, 16 Bryce's oldest daughter.
Shade does not like his picture taken so we had to take a few.
An candid picture of Troy Thelin, Ron's youngest boy, Quinn, Darcie's other boy, and Troy's oldest son.
Left to right, Clay and his mother Laurie, Isabel, Claudia and Aubrey, Cory's daughter.
Mom and son, what a precious picture. You can see the resemblance Clay has to his Dad, Cory.
