Christmas 2007

We had a wonderful time Christmas eve with all the family here for chicken chili and cornbread. The little kids and some big ones preferred regular chili which I had on hand as well. So everyone was happy. Kali and Gabe brought sparkling cider in varied flavors. It was soon consumed with much delight.
The biggest highlight of the evening was watching my youngest grand-daughter with the doll we had given her. Chelle captured the moment that she opened the box and promptly kissed the doll right on the lips! The whole room broke out in spontaneous and delightful laughter. I had given her 4 different baby quilts, two of which were pink patterned fleece and the other two hand quilted cows and moon on a green background. I had fun creating them. I wish the rest of the family would cooperate and get us some more grand-daughters. We only have 2 girls and 6 boys.

We are new at this blogging so it will take us awhile to get the idea but just hang with us.
So long for now.
Love,
Mom and Dad
